There is just a great range of Sonoffs called DIY, which allows classic Sonoff equipment to switch over to Sonoff Local without any flashing.

Small problem at the beginning

As I write this page, there is a problem with the latest online version (3.5.1).

I chatted with AlexxIT and he referred me to the master version which obviously seemed better suited.

To change the version, go to HACS then integration, click Sonoff LAN, at the top right, choose … then Redownload and then take Master, at the bottom of the drop-down list.

Once the integration is installed via HACS, add an integration:

then choose:

Result in Home Assistant
