An error occurs and you can no longer delete a file or folder in a OneDrive sharing area

The soft method, relaunch of OneDrive

• Open a command line (admin) and type:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive \OneDrive.exe" /reset

This will reset OneDrive, check the path following your version of Windows.

• Open a command line (not in admin) and type:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive \OneDrive.exe"

This will relaunch the client and synchro.

If the soft method has not changed anything, we will have to go and see the structure of the hard drive.

The in-depth method, disk analysis

We will use the chkdsk utility

• Open a command line (admin) and type:

chkdsk o: /F /R

o: corresponds to the disk dedicated to OneDrive at home, to be replaced by the disk that hosts your OneDrive folder.
