Wanting to replace a remote control on my portal, I wondered if it was possible to replace it with a Chinese product that was 8 times cheaper.

Here is the doc provided, the programming is archi-simple.

Programming is therefore very simple, first you reset while pressing the top two buttons. Then you configure button by button by leaving it pressed and presenting the source remote control in front by pressing also, it is instantaneous.

No instructions for use provided, I found the procedure online

Reset : Press the top two buttons (the led flashes 3 times) then hold the left button , release the right button then press the right button 3 times, the led flashes, it is reset. Normally, pressing the buttons does not trigger the LED.

Prog (for each button): allow the button to be programmed to be pressed, present the old remote control and press the button. The button is programmed when the led reacts.

Conclusion, results

For now, the battery is new, so I feel like the new remotes are going further, I would have to change the battery of the original remote to be sure

The programming is rather simple, the immediate result, at this stage I have nothing negative to report.

The three Chinese remote controls are made of high-quality plastic, the buttons are pleasantly pressed, there is nothing to say aesthetically either, I really like the changing round.

Time will tell if they will last as long as the branded remote control.
