The Alexa-API plugin has become extremely heavy and it is necessary to review its organization.

User support becomes impossible because there is too much interaction between the different parts of the plugin, so it will restructure and reorganise.

The new versions will be broken down as follows:

Alexa-API

Alexa-API will remain the central engine of the interface, this plugin will ensure the link between Jeedom and Amazon’s API. It will also enable the communication of the other plugins below with Amazon’s server.

This plugin will keep the pure management of Alexas (alarms, reminders, stopwatches, last interactions, history, requeteurs, Speak, Volume, Routines, …)

Alexa-AmazonMusic

Alexa-AmazonMusic is ready, it is in beta version and stable.

Alexa-Deezer

Alexa-Deezer is under development

Alexa-Spotify

Alexa-Spotify is under development

Alexa-smartHome

Alexa-smartHome in beta and stable.

This plugin is complex because Amazon has not documented its API.

At this stage:

• SmartHomes equipment is detected automatically (all equipment Amazon SmartHome Compatible are recognised)
• On/Off commands work perfectly and are instant years
• The state returns are in place with polling at 1min for now.
