I am always wary of unusually cheap equipment: Some sellers display approximate descriptions or deliver different models of the photo. To make no mistake, I always carefully compare the reference (here <strong>WZ-M100-W<\/strong>) and visuals with those of the official Zigbee2MQTT documentation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/presence1.jpg\" alt=\"Zigbee Detector Box\" width=\"529\" height=\"370\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/20231127_201106-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Detector front view\" width=\"296\" height=\"395\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/20231127_201119-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Rear view detector\" width=\"295\" height=\"393\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The technical specifications of the model received are consistent with the announcement:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/presence1.png\" alt=\"Technical specifications\" width=\"464\" height=\"303\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%9B%92_Ou_lacheter%E2%80%AF\"><\/span>\ud83d\uded2 Where to buy it?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Very variable prices, obviously between \u20ac15 and \u20ac20, I am waiting for this to stabilise to complete here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center; margin-top: 10px;\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em;\">\u26a0 <\/span><strong>Advice:<\/strong> Before buying, I always check the exact model (WZ-M100-W) and I prefer sellers with good reviews and real photos of the product to avoid any unpleasant surprises.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%94%97_Jintegre_ce_boitier_a_Zigbee2MQTT\"><\/span>\ud83d\udd17 I integrate this box with Zigbee2MQTT<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>I switch Zigbee2MQTT to pairing mode and then connect the detector\u2019s USB-C power supply. The pairing starts, but on the first test, Zigbee2MQTT (version 1.33.2 at the time of testing) does not yet recognise the product.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/presence2.png\" alt=\"Pairing attempt\" width=\"294\" height=\"898\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The module is not detected, so integration is not yet possible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/presence3.png\" alt=\"Module not detected\" width=\"535\" height=\"381\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%9A%A7_Support_logiciel_en_cours_devolution\"><\/span>\ud83d\udea7 Software support under development<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Good news: this model has recently joined the Zigbee2MQTT documentation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.zigbee2mqtt.io\/devices\/WZ-M100-W.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Official sheet Zigbee2MQTT \u2013 WZ-M100-W<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Last update: 27\/11\/2023 19:44:46<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I was then using the version <strong>1.33.2<\/strong> by Zigbee2MQTT. After the software update, support for the module became official and integration was facilitated.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%F0%9F%8E%89_Mise_a_jour_du_test%E2%80%AF_20012024\"><\/span>\ud83c\udf89 Test update: 20\/01\/2024<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After updating Zigbee2MQTT (version 1.35.1), the WZ-M100-W detector is now recognised and works perfectly:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/detect1.png\" alt=\"Recognized detector\" width=\"660\" height=\"652\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In summary: an update of Zigbee2MQTT is sufficient to enable the integration of this module, which then becomes stable and fully usable.
