I tested this cheap Zigbee 22WZ button, purchased with my own funds without sponsorship, to check its native integration into Zigbee2MQTT and avoid the Tuya cloud ecosystem.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/zigbee-3-certification.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5746\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/zigbee-3-certification.png\" alt=\"Zigbee 3.0 Button Certification\" width=\"291\" height=\"189\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>I check the model Zigbee 22WZ received<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cardboard only mentions \"Tuya\", but a precise label confirms Zigbee compatibility. This reassures me because my objective is direct integration via Zigbee2MQTT, without going through the Tuya Smart application, which requires a cloud account and exposes me to risks of external dependence.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The technical specifications indicate a Zigbee 3.0 certification, a CR2032 battery included, and several possible actions: single support, double support, long support. Zigbee 3.0 ensures better interoperability between brands and an extended mesh network range of up to 100m indoors thanks to the repeaters.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bouton3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5822\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bouton3.png\" alt=\"Zigbee 22WZ Button Technical Specifications\" width=\"656\" height=\"561\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bouton3.png 656w, https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bouton3-600x513.png 600w, https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/bouton3-300x257.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 656px) 100vw, 656px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>Where to buy this Zigbee button at a low price?<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time of this feedback:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Not yet listed on <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3FVj5hm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon<\/a>, but watch the arrivals.<\/li>\r\n<li>Available at Temu around 15\u20ac (not personally tested).<\/li>\r\n<li>On <a href=\"https:\/\/s.click.aliexpress.com\/e\/_DFr5j9V\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AliExpress<\/a>, price between \u20ac9 and \u20ac11 on promotion, but a multitude of identical references: choose sellers with &gt;95% positive and &gt;100 sales.<\/li>\r\n<li>In my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/en\/materielavendre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">garage sale<\/a> at cost price if stock remains.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>I integrate the button into Zigbee2MQTT step by step<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I switch Zigbee2MQTT to pairing mode via the web interface (Permitter join: ON, 255 seconds). I open the button by rotating the anti-clockwise rear cover by 2-3mm without forcing \u2013 an important trick to avoid breakage.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I insert the CR2032 battery by pulling the protective tab. Immediately, the blue LED near the battery flashes quickly, signaling the Zigbee pairing mode. The battery is displayed at 100% initially; Check it after 1-2 months of actual use.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>I find the button in Home Assistant<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Via the Zigbee2MQTT &gt; MQTT integration, the button automatically appears as the _zigbee _action sensor.button.
