On the other hand, the reading of the radios works.<\/p>\n<p>Player widgets make using Spotify very simple and user-friendly.<\/p>\n<p>The multiroom is taken into account and the broadcast can be simultaneous on several Alexa<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-api-changelog\">TODOList and ChangeLog<\/a> are the subject of a special page.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/comparaison-alexa-amazonmusic-alexa-spotify-alexa-deezer\">comparison between Alexa-AmazonMusic, Alexa-Spotify and Alexa-Deezer<\/a> is available.<\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"Installation\"><\/a>Installing the Alexa-Spotify Plugin<\/h2>\n<p>Very important, Alexa-Spotify needs the <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-api-documentation\">Alexa-API plugin<\/a><em> (free)<\/em> to talk to your Alexa:<\/p>\n<h3>Step 1: Install the <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-api-documentation\">Alexa-API plugin<\/a><\/h3>\n<h3>Step 2: Install the Alexa-Spotify Plugin<\/h3>\n<h4>from the Market, Multimedia category or by typing its name in the search field<\/h4>\n<p><strong><a id=\"versions\"><\/a>Note on the versions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You have the choice between the version <strong>Stable<\/strong> or version <strong>beta<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Many new features are always more present on the Beta than on the Stable but they are in test.<\/p>\n<p>If you are a gamer and curious, you can install the Beta version.<\/p>\n<p>Note: You do not need to install Jeedom en Beta (this is not recommended for that matter) to install the Beta plugin.<\/p>\n<p>You can quite easily switch from a Beta version to a Stable version and vice versa, just reinstall over the other version.<\/p>\n<h3>Step 3: Activate Plugin<\/h3>\n<h3>\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-317\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screenshot_2020-02-04_Alexa_-_API_-_Jeedom.png\" alt=\"Screenshot 2020 02 04 Alexa API Jeedom\" width=\"159\" height=\"39\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>Step 4: Go back to the <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-api-documentation\">Alexa-API plugin<\/a><\/h3>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-318\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screenshot_2020-02-04_Alexaamazonmusic_-_Jeedom.png\" alt=\"Screenshot 2020 02 04 Alexaamazonmusic Jeedom\" width=\"116\" height=\"78\" \/><\/h3>\n<h3>Step 5: Relaunching the SCAN<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-319\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screenshot_2020-02-04_Alexaapi_-_Jeedom.png\" alt=\"Screenshot 2020 02 04 Alexaapi Jeedom\" width=\"116\" height=\"78\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Multimedia devices will be generated automatically<\/p>\n<p>Go to Alexa-Spotify to view them<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-346\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screenshot_2020-04-19_Alexaapi_-_Jeedom1.png\" alt=\"Screenshot 2020 04 19 Alexaapi Jeedom1\" width=\"87\" height=\"108\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><a id=\"maj\"><\/a>Update or Change Version <span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">(<a href=\"#versions\">from Beta to Stable or from Stable to Beta<\/a>)<\/span><\/h2>\n<h3>What to do?<\/h3>\n<p>Since the plugin and its API are alive (Amazon has not documented the API and allows it to change its protocols over time), updates make it possible to make corrections in the links between the plugin and the Amazon server.<\/p>\n<p>Please note that it is always advisable to update <a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-api-documentation\">Alexa-API<\/a> when updating multimedia plugins (<a href=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/alexa-amazon-music-documentation\">Alexa-AmazonMusic<\/a>, Alexa-Deezer, Alexa-Spotify or Alexa-smartHome)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Two solutions to have an operational installation:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Remove all Amazon devices and their orders and recreate them <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Force update of all commands <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Launch a SCAN that detects new equipment or commands<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The choice between these three solutions depends on the number of scenarios you have developed thanks to them. Indeed, the first solution removes all devices and all commands, so it will delete these in your scenarios. The second solution is more respectful of your scenarios because it will update your orders without removing them and therefore your scenarios will be intact.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Solution 1: Remove all equipment and their controls and recreate them<\/h3>\n<p>This is the most important mode <strong>clean<\/strong> and the most <strong>optimised<\/strong> since you leave with an installation like new devices and their commands.<\/p>\n<p>To do so, use the button (in the configuration screen of the Alexa-API plugin)<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-199\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi1.png\" alt=\"Buttonalexaapi1\" width=\"410\" height=\"40\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi1.png 410w, https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi1-300x29.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 410px) 100vw, 410px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Attention<\/strong>, this function removes all equipment and their commands, so you lose all links in your scenarios.<\/p>\n<h3>Solution 2: Force update of all commands<\/h3>\n<p>This is the most important mode <strong>simple<\/strong> and<strong> risk-free <\/strong>since your equipment and their orders are not deleted. This forcing therefore does not impact your scenarios.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, you have to use the button\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-200\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi2.png\" alt=\"Buttonalexaapi2\" width=\"513\" height=\"37\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi2.png 513w, https:\/\/www.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi2-300x22.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 513px) 100vw, 513px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you do not want to start the update focing on <strong>all<\/strong> the Orders of <strong>all<\/strong> equipment, you can launch it on a single equipment (and therefore on all its orders). To do so, go to the equipment concerned and click on:<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-201\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/boutonalexaapi3.png\" alt=\"Buttonalexaapi3\" width=\"220\" height=\"32\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Solution 3: The SCAN<\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-319\" src=\"http:\/\/jeedom.sigalou-domotique.fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screenshot_2020-02-04_Alexaapi_-_Jeedom.png\" alt=\"Screenshot 2020 02 04 Alexaapi Jeedom\" width=\"116\" height=\"78\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Finally, note that the scan can be launched at any time, it does not impact the equipment already detected or the existing commands, on the other hand, it recreates all the <strong>new<\/strong> Devices or Devices <strong>removed<\/strong>.
