For trying both, I stopped for a while on Moments but since DSM 7, Synology Photos has made its appearance taking the best of the two previous apps, it is this app that gives me total satisfaction today.<\/p>\n<p>So I use Synology Photos to synchronize the mobile phone and the NAS, synchronization is fast, efficient, so simple for the user. To complete this tutorial, here are some features offered in Synology Photos:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Creation of custom albums<\/li>\n<li>Creation of conditional albums (e.g.: an album that brings together all the photos where all the people in your family are identified)<\/li>\n<li>Share photos, albums, with other people even without having an account on the NAS<\/li>\n<li>Generate sharing links externally and internally. Password protected access<\/li>\n<li>Smart search filters (place, date, person, target type, etc.) based on EXIF data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>File and organization of Synology Photos<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>On the smartphone<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are no duplicates on the smartphone, the mobile application displays the thumbnails of the images present <strong>on your NAS<\/strong>, for example, photos that are not synchronised but are present on your smartphone will not be displayed on the app screen. Everyone will choose to include the folders of Whatsapp, Messenger, Faceboook or only the folder of the camera which is <strong>DCIM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The option <strong>Wifi only<\/strong> seems the best not to spend the 4G folder for photo synchronization.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, it should be noted that you can choose to send the photos of your smartphone to your<strong> personal space<\/strong> or in the<strong>shared space<\/strong>, it depends on the use you want to use in Synology Photos. Everything is customizable, it is a product that I have been a part of for many years. There is a full version, 30 days free, if you want to test.<\/p>\n<h3>JAlbum folder and its synchro with OneDrive<\/h3>\n<p>I voluntarily created the jAlbum data folder in a folder synchronized by OneDrive. This allows for every addition of photos or videos to be backed up in real time to Microsoft\u2019s cloud.<\/p>\n<p>To create an album, nothing is easier, File\/New project, and we put this in a synchronized folder OneDrive.<\/p>\n<p>For you to know everything, I have a hard drive (or partition) dedicated to OneDrive, so I know that everything saved on it is synchronised.
